MOAB LANDFILL:
Moab Landfill is is a permitted facility located on Sand Flats Road across from the cell tower about 4 tenths of a mile up the hill from the recycling center. The Landfill is open Monday-Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The Landfill is closed on federal holidays and July 24th for Pioneer Day (see home page for list of holidays). The Landfill accepts construction debris and yard waste. The fees are: $6.00 per cubic yard for residential customers and $10.00 per cubic yard for commercial customers. The landfill accepts tire which are recycled and the fees are $12.00 per cubic yard and $4.50 for size over 16.5" and $1.50 for size under 16.5".

The Moab Landfill does not accept the following:
Liquids: This includes any vehicle fluids.
White Goods: Appliances, for example: ovens, refrigerators, washer/dryers etc.
These must be taken to Bob's Sanitation located at 2295 South Highway 191 in Moab Utah.
Batteries: These can be taken to the local auto parts stores.
Tanks: To be accepted at the landfill, the tanks must be cut in half and triple-rinsed.
