The Solid Waste District will sponsoring a free clean-up day on May 18th from 8:00am to 3:00pm for the Castle Valley/Castleton residents to dump 2 cubis yards of trash. Bob's Sanitation will bring dumpsters and the residents can get their yards in order. The clean-up day for Thompson will be June 8th from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Bob's Sanitation will bring dumpsters to the UDOT yard for the residents to dump 2 cubic yards. Watch for ads in the newspaper for more information or call the District office at (435)259-3867.
Captain Zero says it is time to spruce up our homes and yards. At the end February, the Solid Waste District will be sending out the annual clean-up coupons to the residents of Moab city and Spanish Valley. This coupon allows a free 2 cubic yard load to be taken to Moab Landfill. Watch for the advertisement in the Times Independent and let's all pitch in and make Moab beautiful!

Captain Zero made his first appearance at America Recycles Day! He was on hand to celebrate recycling. Captain Zero is made from all of the recycling products that can be taken to the Community Recycling Center.
